Department of Linguistics Goergen Award Recipient

We are proud to announce that Jeff Runner, Associate Professor of Linguistics and of Brain and Cognitive Sciences, has been selected to receive the Goergen Award for "Distinguished Achievement and Artistry in Undergraduate Teaching," a well-deserved recognition of Jeff's contributions to the College.

He will be congratulated by the Deans at the College-wide Convocation ceremony on September 8, 2006 at 12:00 pm on Dandelion Square, a celebration for students, faculty and staff marking the start of the academic year. Jeff will deliver a speech after receiving his award.

In case of rain, the Convocation ceremonies will be held in Strong Auditorium.
